Spring has Sprung

After experiencing a winter blizzard in mid-April, hope was nearly lost that Spring would ever arrive! Fortunately, Mother Nature gave Central Wisconsin a much needed reprieve from the snow and cold temperatures. Today's high reached 78, which is a welcome sign to humans and birds alike, that this short window of moderate weather is fully open!  And just in time for local and visiting guests to get out and take advantage of long sunny days and the perks of living in a four season climate. Local farmers and gardening enthusiasts are gearing up for an abundant season of fresh produce and goods to share at the Rome Farmers Market. Sand Valley Golf Resort recently hosted a Farm to Table dinner, celebrating local farmers, growers, and vendors who provide much of the food served at Mammoth Bar. The culinary experts at Sand Valley take great pride in putting together menu items that utilize fresh, local, and organic ingredients.

Check out these pics of the new menu items for the 2018 season.
